Ques:- What are the kind of expectations you have from your first job?
Ques:- A,B and C needs 8, 12 and 16 days respectively to finish a task. How many days will it take if A works for 2 days then B works on it until 25% of the job is left for C to do, and C completes the work?
Recent Answer : Added by Deven Sharma On 2023-05-31 18:36:37:

To solve this problem, we can break it down into steps:

Step 1: Determine the individual rates of work for A, B, and C.

If A needs 8 days to finish the task, then their work rate is 1/8 of the task per day.
If B needs 12 days to finish the task, then their work rate is 1/12 of the task per day.
If C needs 16 days to finish the task, then their work rate is 1/16 of the task per day.

Step 2: Calculate the combined work rate of A and B.

If A works for 2 days, their contribution will be 2 * (1/8) = 1/4 of the task completed.
If B works until 25% of the job is left for C, then they will complete 75% of the task.

Step 3: Calculate the time it takes for B to complete 75% of the task.

Since B’s work rate is 1/12 of the task per day, it will take B (75%)/(1/12) = 9 days to complete 75% of the task.

Step 4: Calculate the remaining work for C.

If B completes 75% of the task, then the remaining work for C is 100% – 75% = 25% of the task.

Step 5: Calculate the time it takes for C to complete the remaining work.

Since C’s work rate is 1/16 of the task per day, it will take C (25%)/(1/16) = 4 days to complete the remaining 25% of the task.

Step 6: Calculate the total time required.

A worked for 2 days, B worked for 9 days, and C worked for 4 days, totaling 2 + 9 + 4 = 15 days.

Therefore, it will take a total of 15 days for A to work for 2 days, B to work until 25% of the job is left, and C to complete the remaining work.

Ques:- The perimeter of a semi circle is 144 cm then the radius is?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2022-09-29 17:59:35:

Perimeter of semi circular = πr+2r

Where r is radius , π = 22/7

πr+2r= 144 (given)

(22/7)r +2r = 144

22r+14r = 144*7 (multiply both sides by 7)

36r = 144*7

r= 144*7/36 = 28

radius =28 cm

Area =( 1/2)πr^2

Area=( 1/2 )*(22/7)*28*28

= 1232cm^2
Ans : area is 1232 cm^2

Ques:- There are 5 burglars and once went to a bakery to rob it obviously The first guy ate 1/2 of the total bread and 1/2 of the bread. The second guy ate 1/2 of the remaining and 1/2 of the bread. The third guy ,fourth guy and fifth guy did the same. After fifth guy there is no bread left out. How many bread are there?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:04:12:

let the total no of breads be x.
1st man 2nd man
x- (x/2) – 1/2 – 1/2((x-1)/2) – 1/2 ….. so on.
ans is 31.
first ate : 15.5 + .5 = 16 remaining 15
second ate : 7.5+0.5 = 8 remaining 7.
third ate : 3.5 +0.5 = 4 remaining 3.
fourth ate : 1.5 + 0.5 = 2 remaining 1
fifth ate : 0.5 + 0.5 = 1 remaining 0

Ques:- A worker earns a 5% raise. A year later, the worker receives a 2.5% cut in pay, & now his salary is Rs.22702.68

What was his salary to begin with?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:01:03:

Assume his salary was Rs. X
He earns 5% raise. So his salary is (105*X)/100
A year later he receives 2.5% cut.
So his salary is ((105*X)/100)*(97.5/100)
which is Rs. 22702.68
So Ans is Rs.22176

Ques:- In a class of 60 students, the number of boys and girls participating in the annual sports is in the ratio 3 : 2 respectively. The number of girls not participating in the sports is 5 more than the number of boys not participating in the sports. If the number of boys participating in the sports is 15, then how many girls are there in the class? (1) Data inadequate (2) 20 (3) 25 (4) 30 (5) None of these
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:03:57:

let no. of boys not participating be x
then the no. of girls not participating = x+5
no. of boys : girls participating = 3:2
given no.of boys participating = 15
therefore, the ratio is now 15:y(say)
then 3:2 = 15 : x
on solving 3/2 =15/y ie.., 3y =30 we get y =10
hence no. of girls participating =10
therefore total no of students paricipating = 15+10=25
total no of students in class =60 given
hence no. of students not participating = 60-25=35
therefore x+(x+5)=35
2x=30
x=15
therfore no of girls not participating =15+5=20
therefore total no of girls in class = no of girls
participating + no of girls not participating
=10+20
=30 is the answer

The answer for this question is very simple: it is called Ceaser Cipher.
It consists of replacing a character by another located in (current character position + (key-1)), where key = how many positions you want to skip.
For Example: VICTORY -> YLFWRUB with the key = 3.
Then SUCCESS -> QXFFHQQ
