Ques:- A cube of side 4cm is painted with colors red,blue,green in such a way that opposite sides are painted in the same colour . this cube is now cut into 64 cubes of equal size .then 1) how many have atleast two sides painted in different colours.
Ques:- A can do a half of certain work in 70 days and B one third of the same in 35 days. They together will do the whole work in.

Days taken by B to complete whole work= 105 days

A’s 1 day work= 1/140
B’s 1 day work= 1/105
On adding these together we get: 1/60 (1 day work by working together)

So, together they will be able to complete it in 60 days

Ques:- There are 3 persons Sudhir, Arvind, and Gauri. Sudhir lent cars to Arvind and Gauri as many as they had already. After some time Arvind gave as many cars to Sudhir and Gauri as many as they have. After sometime Gauri did the same thing. At the end of this transaction each one of them had 24. Assume there are 52 weeks in one year.
Since he supposed to have a new order for every two weeks, he
needs 52/2 = 26 orders to break the office record.

Now after 28 weeks,he has got only 28/2 -6 = 8 orders.

Hence,he needs 26-8 = 18 new orders in the remaining 24= 52-28 weeks to break the office record.

Compute 24 orders/18 weeks = 4/3 orders/week ,
we see that averagely he has a new order for
every 4/3 weeks in the remaining weeks to break the office record.

Let be students are consider as child
Let the age of child added later be x years.
average age of 12 children =20 years
∴ Total age of 12 children =20×12=240 years
After one more child is added-
Average of 13 children =20−1=19 years
Average age of 13 children =
13
sum of 12 children+x

19=
13
240+x

⇒240+x=247
⇒x=247−240=7 years
Hence the age of child added later is 7 years.
