Ques:- Where is the objective of Social Justice included in the Constitution of India?
Ques:- Two pipes X and Y can separately fill a cistern in 18 and 24 hours respectively. If they are turned on alternately for one hour each, how long will it take to fill the cistern?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2022-09-28 17:08:06:

X filling rate is 1/18 or 4/72 per hour

Y filling rate is 1/24 or 3/72 per hour

Combined as a pair it’s 7/72 in a complete 2 hour alternating sequence

72+ 7/72 =10 sequences = 70/72 on 20 hours, The outstanding balance is just 2/72

So at 20.5 hours with X turn filling is 100% complete with 72/72

Answer: It will take 20.5 hours to completely fill this tank.

Analysis of measured filling process, from X = 42/72 share & from Y = 30/72 share

Ques:- Perimeter of the back wheel = 9 feet, front wheel = 7 feet on a certain distance, the front wheel gets 10 revolutions more than the back wheel .What is the distance?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:04:03:

Let the revolutins made by bigger wheel is: x
then revolution by smaller wheel will be: x+10
Now, the distance covered by both wheels will be same.
So,
7(x+10)=9x
7x+70=9x
70=2x
35=x
so distance travelled=9*35=315
or 7*45=315

Recent Answer : Added by Rudradeb Biswas On 2021-08-16 05:26:57:

444km
Since the speed diff is 5km/h
It takes 12 hrs to cover 60 extra kms
Therefore in 12 hrs the total dist covered is
Relative speed×time=(21+16)×12=444 kms

Recent Answer : Added by Kalyani Nanaware On 2022-08-14 16:43:06:

The numbers that lie between 100 and 1000 which are divisible by 14 are 112, 126,140 …,994
a = 112; l = 994, d = 14
n= (l−a)/d+1
= (994-112)/14+1
= 64
Sn=n/2(l+a)
= 64/2(994+112)
= 32*1106
= 35392

A. 12
B. 6
C. 9
D. none
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:04:25:

these are question tht are seem to be like it consumes
time. so dont see jus the question and run to the next .
ans. a) 12
if 9 balls are added then the ratio to the combination
becomes 2:4:3.
9 balls make the ratio 3 for grey balls in tht mixture.
so the factor is 9/3 = 3 (in tht mixture)
so the same factor has to be maintained through out the
ratio. so black balls is 4 * 3 = 12 and white balls is 2 *
3 = 6.
