Ques:- A man bought some fruits at the rate of 16 for Rs. 24 and sold them at the rate of 8 for Rs. 18. What is the profit percent?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:03:39:

cost price(c.p) of one fruit = 24/16
(c.p) = Rs 1.50
selling price(s.p) of one fruit = 18/8
(s.p) =Rs 2.25
profit for one fruit = 2.25 – 1.50 = 0.75
profit
profit % = ———– * 100
cost price
0.75
= ——- * 100
1.50
= 50%

Ques:- Three thives were caught stealing sheep, mule and camel. A says ” B had stolen sheep ” C says ” B had stolen mule” B says he had stolen nothing. the one who had stolen horse is speaking truth.the one who had stolen camel is lying . Tell who had stolen what? give the steps …
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:04:29:

Had is correct ! Anil went in right direction but ended up
with wrong answers
Soln: B lied ( see anil’s comment ) which implies B has not
stolen mule. So B could steal camel or sheep.
1) Lets assume B stole camel.
In that case, A lies ( refer – A says “B had stolen sheep”
), which implies A had stolen sheep ( becoz a lier cant
steal mule ). So A->sheep B->camel C->mule. But this cant
happen because C cant lie ( refer – C says ” B had stolen
mule” ).
2) Lets assume B stole sheep.
In that case, A is true ( refer – A says “B had stolen
sheep” ), which implies A had stolen mule. So A->Mule
B->Sheep C->camel. Here C lies ( refer – C says ” B had
stolen mule” )
SO ANS: answer A- mule, B-sheep, C camel

Ques:- Why you have taken this many attempts to finish CA?
Ques:- A certain type of mixture is prepared by mixing brand A at Rs.9 a kg. with brand B at Rs.4 a kg. If the mixture is worth Rs.7 a kg., how many kgs. of brand A are needed to make 40kgs. of the mixture?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2022-09-29 17:39:56:

Answer:

24

Step-by-step explanation:

A + B = 40.

And at Rs 7 a kg for 40 kg, you want a total of Rs.280.

So the second equation is 9A + 4B = 280

From the first equation: B = 40 – A

and sub into the second equation:

9A + 4(40-A) = 280

9A + 160 – 4A = 280

5A = 120

A = 24.

And you should check: B should equal 40-24 = 16. Check with the final equation: 9*24 + 4*16 = 216 + 64 = 280. So it works.

Your answer, of course, is A = 24
