Ques:- You are given weights of order 1kg 3kg 9kg 27kg 81kg and so on…(powers of 3)A weight of N kg is placed on any one of the empty pans of the balance.You are supposed to add weights to both pans of the balance and make them equal.You can use one weight only once..i.e., you can't use 2 number of 3kg weights.
Ques:- 2/3 of corckery(plates) are broken, 1/2 have someother thing(handle) broken , 1/4 are both broken and handle broken. Ultimately only 2 pieces of corckery were without any defect. How many crockery were there in total.

x/4 both brocken
2x/3+x/2-x/4 = no of total broken(crockery or handle)
=11x/12
unbroken =x-11x/12=x/12
