D. Rs. 6000
Recent Answer : Added by MANASA CHINTHALA On 2022-03-09 16:33:20:

P1/P2 = C1*T1/ C2*T2
where P1 = Partner 1’s Profit.
C1 = Partner 1’s Capital.
T1 = Time period for which Partner 1 contributed his capital.
P2 = Partner 2’s Profit.
C2 = Partner 2’s Capital.
T2 = Time period for which Partner 2 contributed his capital
6000/3000= 20,000*6/x*12
x=5000

Ques:- There are twelve consecutive flags at an equal interval of distance. A man passes the 8th flag in 8 seconds. How many more seconds will he take to pass the remaining 4 flags?
Recent Answer : Added by DK BOSS On 2021-07-17 06:40:10:

This is more logical …

Let the 1st flag 1 placed at the origin ….
in crossing 8 flags he traveled 7 distances….
s=d/t
=7/8

time for 4 flags t=(d/s)=4/(7/8)=(4*8)/7=4.5714285714285714285714285714286

Ques:- When x is real what is the least value of (x**2-6*x+5)/(x**2+2*x+1)
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:01:23:

(x**2 – 6* x + 5) = (x-1)*(x-5)
(x**2 + 2 * x + 1) = (x + 1) * (x+1) = (x+1)**2
For what x is (x-1)*(x-5)/( (x+1)**2) a minimum?
One way to answer this question is by using calculus.
Take the derivative, and set to zero.
Since this is a fraction of polynomials, and a fraction is
zero only if it’s numerator is zero, we need calculate only
the numerator of the derivative and set it to zero.
The numerator of the
Derivative of (x-1)*(x-5)/( (x+1)**2) is
( (x-1) + (x-5) ) ( x+1)**2 – (x-1)(x-5)( 2 (x+1) )
= (2 x – 6) (x+1)**2 – (2) (x-1)(x-5) (x+1)
= 0
Divide through by 2 (x+1)
(x-3)(x+1) – (x-1)(x-5) = 0
(x**2 – 2 x – 3 ) – (x**2 – 6 x + 5) = 0
x**2 – x**2 – 2 x + 6 x – 3 – 5 = 0
4 x – 8 = 0
x = 2
Plugging in x = 2 into the original
(x**2-6*x+5)/(x**2+2*x+1)
gives us (2**2 – 6 * 2 + 5)/(2**2 + 2*2 + 1)
= (4 – 12 + 5) / (4 + 4 + 1) = -3/9 = -1/3
Least value is -1/3

Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2022-09-29 17:11:51:

A & B one day work= 1/18 + 1/30= 8/90

1÷8/90= 1*90/8= 90/8.

Since they say “ twice the amount of work

Then ,2*90/8= 22.5 days
