let x be sum.
SI of 18% for 1 year= x*18/100=0.18x;
SI of 18% for 2 years is 0.36x;

SI of 12% for 1 year= x*12/100=0.12x;
SI of 12% for 2 years is 0.24x;

Given, 0.36x-0.24x=840
0.12x=840
x=840/0.12=7000.

Ques:- Radius of sphere is increased by 50%. By how much percentage is surface area is increased?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 11:59:36:

let original radius=100
original surface area lets say it x =4 * (22/7) * 100 *100
new radius=100 + 50% of 100=150
new surface area lets say it y = 4 * (22/7)* 150* 150
increase in surface area=((y-x)/x) * 100
i.e.
((4*(22/7)*150*150 – 4*(22/7)*100 *100) / (4*(22/7)*100*100))*100
=125
so the answer is 125%.
hope this helps you.

Ques:- In a Park, N persons stand on the circumference of a circle at distinct points. Each possible pair of persons, not standing next to each other, sings a two-minute song ? one pair immediately after the other. If the total time taken for singing is 28 minutes, what is N?
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2022-09-29 18:42:28:

Total number of pairs is NC2^{N}C_2NC2. Number of pairs standing next to each other = N. Therefore, number of pairs in question = NC2^{N}C_2NC2 – N = 28/2 = 14. If N = 7,
7C2 – 7 = 21 – 7 = 14….
N =7

In the down word direction Jill can go 3km in a hour, while Jack can go 1km in 1 hour.. Jill reach the ground 1st nd waited for Jack for “x” hours.. Total journey they traveled is 6 km.. Find the speed of Jack…
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:03:21:

previous ans wrong again..!!!!
first find x its 2 hours
total journey 6 hrs 3km up and also down
jill takes one hr to come down and jack takes 3 hrs so x
is 2 hours….
And while going up jack goes at 1.5km/hr and jill goes at
0.75 km hr so to travel 3 km they take 2 hrs and 4 hrs
respectively…!!! x again is 2 hrs…
so jack totally takes 5 hrs to travel 6 km
therfore speed is 6/5 km per hour
thats is 1.2 km per hour is the correct answer
