Let the disbursement D to each son:
D1 = 1 + (M – 1)/5 = (M + 4)/5
D2 = 1 + ( M – D1 -1)/5 = (D1) * 4/5
D3= (D2) * 4/5
D4= (D3) * 4/5
D5= (D4) * 4/5
Total disbursements to sons=
