Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2020-05-17 12:04:31:

as i assume the time taken to complete the job is not to be
changed while increasing the employees as it does not
clearly states so……….
30 men wrk for 9 hrs
therefore for the work to be done if no of workers is
increases the no of hrs / day to work should decrease so
here s a inverse relation
solving further we get
30 = K /9 ==> K= 270
now
40 = 270/y ==> y= 6.75
therefore ans is d)none

Ques:- Two trains are on same track and they are coming toward each other. The speed of first train is 50 KMs/h and the speed of second train is 70 KMs/h. A bee starts flying between the trains when the distance between two trains is 100 KMs. The bee first flies from first train to second train. Once it reaches the second train, it flies back to the second train ? and so on until trains collide. Calculate the total distance traveled by the bee. Speed of bee is 40 KMs/h. .
Recent Answer : Added by DK BOSS On 2021-07-15 09:17:12:

Answer: 66.67 km approx.

Solution:

Let the first train A move at u km/h.
Let the second train B move at v km/h.
Let the distance between two trains be d km
Let the speed of bee be b km/h
Therefore, the time taken by trains to collide = d/(u+v)
Now putting all the known values into the above equation, we get,

u = 50 km/hr
v = 70 km/hr
d = 100 km
b = 80 km/hr

Therfore, the total distance travelled by bee
= b*d/(u+v)
= 80 * 100/(50+70)
= 66.67 km (approx)

Ques:- 5 men or 8 women do equal amount of work in a day. a job requires 3 men and 5 women to finish the job in 10 days how many woman are required to finish the job in 14 days.
Recent Answer : Added by Admin On 2022-09-29 17:03:59:

Lets assume total LCM(5,8) = 40units.
As, 5 men or 8 women do equal amount of work in a day,
1 Man does 8units/day and 1 Woman does 5units/day.
3M and 5W in 10 days do (3*8 + 5*5)*10 = 490units
To do 490 units in 14 days, number of Women required = 490/(14*5) = 7
